Nice, but need to know about the car park
Was disappointed that I didn't get a discount for the car park. Apparently you have to let the hotel know in advance for the discount, so I had to pay full price (£36) fro just over 24 hours.

Old before its time
The hotel check-in process was great. However, the rooms are dated, the showerhead was inadequate, and the air conditioning was not functioning properly.

Very comfortable
Very good location and good breakfast with decent coffee and good amount of food choices.
Rooms are simple but clean.
Good gym facilities and welcoming staff.
Said has parking for extra fee, but actually just has very few places. Apparently has discount for near by Q-park but only if pre-booked, which isn't on their website so need to ring them before hand.

Enjoyed the stay although first room wasn't as clean as normal. Reception were very good and this was dealt with. Room was very comfortable. Food was good at breakfast also evening meal. A great location for the city tour of Liverpool. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Staff were very friendly and helpful..

Excellent 3 night stay.
Excellent hotel in great location. Easy walk from Lime Street Station. Staff very friendly & helpful. Very clean & large spacious room with exceptionally comfortable bed.

Disappointed and simply not what I expected
Despite advance messages where I asked about parking the hotel failed to respond at each opportunity. I then arrived only to see that the on site parking was closed so I was really unhappy as I had to park at the John Lewis car park overnight and walk between the two properties. Being someone with mobility health issues didn’t start the stay off well as I was in agony by the time I got to the hotel.
I received an email saying about checking in via the app, but contrary to that because I booked through Hotels.com it couldn’t be immediately linked to my Hilton Honors account so I couldn’t get the digital key they told me I could.
In the room (627), the bed was amazing and we had a great night sleep but the bathroom facilities were ridiculous. We put the entrance to the shower immediately behind the door??? The shower was positioned in such a way that it was impossible to avoid turning the bathroom floor in to a river, so we had to use all the hand towels to keep it dry, not very eco friendly! The net curtain in the room also had stains on, the glass top on the desk had marks over and the bathroom sink had a load of limescale and green deposits around the overflow hole.
