Very nice hotel - the closeness to Hotel Canoe (for the hot pools and lobby/restaurant) was great, and the rooms were perfect for a family of 4 (kids under 10). The craft coffee to make pour-overs every morning was an awesome addition!

The Dorothy Motel was excellent. Comfortable beds and clean. The parking was free and you could either walk into town 15mins or get a free bus by using a card the hotel gave us. The hot spa pools were lovely in the canoe hotel which was part of the motel group and free to use. Good value for money and we would stay again.

We loved the Dorothy Motel - especially because it was away from the bustle of downtown and we could use the amenities of the Canoe and the Otter. We also had free fresh ground French Press coffee and bus passes. We stayed one night in a more expensive, less appealing hotel. I highly recommend the Dorothy!
