I arrived at 9.30 pm due to Eurostar delays, having walked the 2 miles from station with heavy luggage. The hotel claimed no knowledge of my Expedia booking, and all rooms were full. Showing them the Expedia booking made no difference. At 68 years old, it was no fun trying to find another hotel, as all were full. Feel totally let down. I'd like to think they were telling the truth and they hadn't just given my booking to someone else because of my late arrival, but I doubt it. A very bad experience.
