It's a fun town. The Victoriano was close to everything you want in town yet away from the noise. It one of the more upscale places to stay and $150/night was reasonable especially considering it included breakfast for two.

SJDS is a fantastic place and would highly recommend staying in the town itself if your budget allows.
"An amazing get away. Away from everything. It is a bit isolated but I personally loved that. It has a private beach, restaurant, and bar. The rooms and views are stunning."
