Clean, comfortable, friendly helpful staff, and good food. Overall, great place to stay. Room smaller than I expected for a ‘Superior’ double, and not much of a view - through scaffolding and over a car park - but otherwise excellent. Be aware that there is no lift so if you are on the 2nd floor it’s a bit of a climb.

Beautiful hotel with super friendly staff! Room was cosy and warm with lots of lovely touches like books, board games and gorgeous toiletries. Situated right in the centre of town and car parking on site. Great value for a super stay and nice breakfast.

I’ve stayed a couple of times for business, good location for Shropshire and mid Wales. Cosy rooms with lots of creature comforts, like being at home. Food and drink have been good both times I’ve stayed and staff are friendly. Stairs up to the rooms might be challenging for some, not sure if there’s a lift.

Great Stay
All good. Its an old hotel with beams, so noneof the walls are flat or straight this adds to the charm and it is decorated well. They have sufficient friendly staff which is great. Breakfast very good too. Would go back.

What a lovely hotel. It was an older hotel with bar and restaurant, but was decorated very cozy! The staff were exceptional and you could tell they all loved their jobs, as taking care of their guests was their top priority. The welcome letter in our room was also nice. We traveled all over Scotland and England for 17 days and this was our favorite stop. If we ever get to travel to Wales again, we will stay here!
