It was our first time in Valencia and we really enjoyed our stay, this is partly due to the accommodation we stayed in. We stayed in Russafa Youth Hostel in August 2017. It was cheap and clean, with convenient location and very friendly staffs. It is situated right opposite a church with huge windows, so it was lovely to wake up every morning and hear the church bells. It is very close to the city centre and not too far from most tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend a stroll in the town centre so you can check out the town hall, cathedral and Torres de Serrans. I also highly recommend a visit to Jardins del Reial park and the City of Arts and Sciences.
In addition to the great location, we found the hotel staffs to be extremely friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and attentive. They offered us maps and helped us to plan our days out. The free breakfast was very handy too!
In spite of all the positives, I must mention we found our room to be very hot. The ceiling fan wasn't enough to cool off the heat. This is mainly because we went during midsummer. Also, the bed seemed a bit small and not very comfortable. However, overall it was a great stay and I would reccomend it to anyone on a budget.
