This hotel is situated on the fringe of the old town, set on the hill above and to the right of the town. It is easy to drive to without going through the town. There is plenty of outdoor parking. The hotel has a lift, servicing the three floors. Although lake view rooms are more expensive, it is worth it if you are only there for a short visit.
The walk down to the town is not long at all, but it is steep, either via steps or Street, and is not very easy for people with mobility problems.
The hotel has a good restaurant very good for dinner or breakfast, and comes with great views of the lake.
The only small negative issue experienced was that the wi-fi connection requires repeated login after inactivity on a connected device.
