Great hotel, wonderful breakfast.
Check-in was quick, friendly, and efficient. We were booked into a "Standard Double Room, 1 Double Bed" and our room was very spacious and clean. We had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. Breakfast was a nice buffet with a large bread basket with plenty of selection, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit jams from the region as well as a traditional meats and cheese selection you would expect for a German breakfast. Additionally there were a few different types of cereals and yoghurts. Dinner in the restaurant was extremely nice but at a price point slightly higher than in the town, however I would definitely recommend it. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the main town centre and train station, but is in a very quiet location. The area is fantastic for hiking routes. For a nice full day of hiking I would recommend asking at the desk for the walking booklet and following the trails towards Durbach.

Unexpected pleasant experience
Superb. Afrer arriving at Frankfurt Airport, I decided to stay at this hotel, which is located near Strasbourg. Our Room was not that spacious for three adults but clean and has wonderful view. This hotel itself is not that big one but we loved its atmosphere and bear. Breakfast was also good and fresh. Definately I will come back here next time I have a chance to take a trip around Swarzwald.

Beautiful Mountain View
Hotel is located in quite town of Oberkirch. Winding roads and hills all around with nearby mountains make it great getaway. The hotel staff are friendly and speak english if you like. We were able to get one room for all five of our family for a reasonable price which is hard to do in Europe. Excellent full breakfast in the morning. We ate in the evening as well and they have a great menu. Day we left, we drove up to the castle ruins that we could see from our balcony view.

Nice family room
Nice family room with one large space that includes a double bed and a sofa bed and a small room with two single rooms. On the night of arrival the hot water did not work, but it was fixed early morning so we were able to take showers before the day. Please note that they not have one family room - the description in hotels.com is misleading.
