Magnifique emplacement et très beau jardin
L'endroit est situé dans un très beau jardin tropical (d'où le nom de la propriété). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire qui gère l'endroit avec son fils. L'endroit est sans chichis mais les chambres/apparts sont vastes et bien agencés. La vue sur la mer et le massif de la Soufrière est fantastique et nous avons pu assister à une superbe coucher de soleil

Relaxing location
Apartment with two rooms with sliding glass partition was ideal for comfort of the early and late sleeper. We enjoyed the hotel's breakfast one morning but easily prepared our own the other days. Local Leader Price supermarket is down the hill. Took a great walk up the hill and enjoyed a view of the sunset over the water. Lovely ocean views all around the property. And lovely landscaping. Location was close to La Soufriere (recommended hike- but not all the way to the top). And location is reasonable for a day trip to the Zoo. Get hotel's advice on restaurant locations for dinner.

Reception closed after 8 pm, no way to get extra bed linen, pillows, blankets, etc. Good WiFi, however. Still, not staying here again. Room has an overall minimalistic appearance.

Lovely, family-owned hillside small apartment style accommodations. Grounds are gorgeous. Staff is friendly. Food is hard to come by in area, even in supermarkets, etc. DON'T come on a Sunday or Monday or may not find anything to eat! But the pool, the sunsets, the terrain is beautiful!

This place doesn't quite have the amenities we encountered at other places, but staff is comfortable enough if you're not going to be spending much time there. If we hadn't stayed at other places we liked more, we probably would have liked this one more, but it doesn't stack up very well against the competitors.

Very Quite Great View
Quiet friendly and well maintained. It was all a little old but well maintained and clean. Every thing worked and was comfortable. It was quite easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The opening hours of the reception seem to be pretty strict, so unless you make arrangements there might not be someone there, or the might not speak English. It took over an hour and a half to get to the airport in the morning. I'd like to go back again sometime.

Remote and wonderful.
VERY remote and it was all-important that they sent us excellent directions (no thanks to Hotels.com regarding directions. They were MISERABLE in orienting us to hotel locations in three other cases). BTW: the one thing no one told us was that the drive up and down at night is TERRIFYING and we should have bought groceries at Leader Price supermarket before going up. That was we could have enjoyed the sunset, views, stars, and other delights from our private deck.

Great small hotel set in a tropical world.
This is a great hotel that is hidden away from the busy city. Beautiful tropical flowers and countryside. Pool and nice view of the ocean. This is not a big hotel chain but an owner operated hotel that speaks fluent English and of course French. Learned a lot from the owner about the island's history and natural environment. Glad we found it as it added a nice finish to our cruise week.

Beautiful Hotel
The hotel itself was gorgeous. Amazing view on top of a hill over looking the ocean. Beautiful vegetation and relaxing sitting area where you can order coffee or a drink. The only problem we had is we showed up at 2 to check in. On the door of the reception area it said check in at 2 pm but there was not a soul to be found. We left and drove around for an hour and came back at 3 and the reception was open. It was an inconvenience but overall the room and hotel is breathtaking.

Great place to stay for exploring Basse-Terre!
Ludovic was a great host, he stayed late to greet us at our arrival (thank you!) and got us into our room. The room itself was more than what we expected, and the view was gorgeous. We only stayed one night, as we had plans elsewhere in Guadeloupe, but, I highly recommend staying here if you plan to hike up La Soufriere volcano. The location is perfect for it, and it really enables you to "get up and go", and get to the parking lot before it fills up, because it fills up soon, and is no fun once there's no room to park. Ludovic's English was perfect too, which is a plus and a bit rare on the island. Next time, we may try to stay longer and do more exploration of Basse-Terre island.

Don't hesitate to make this your choice.
The owner is a great guy and very accommodating. Multigenerational establishment with true Guadalupe character and million dollar views. Owner speaks great English as well as French and I believe Spanish. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Full kitchen and nearby markets small pool but big enough. Pool overlooks the ocean from on top the mountain. Two thumbs up from me and our entire party!

Accueil chaleureux. Lodge très sympa avec piscine privée pour 8 personnes avec vue sur la mer. Kitchenette bien agencée. Vue également sur la souffrière ! Très calme. Très bien entretenu.
