Short break in Flanders
The hotel is conveniently placed being served by a frequent tram service and across the road from a wide, clean beach. The studio rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-equipped.

Rooms were spacious, Clean and warm . Breakfast was very nice, good coffee and orange juice, lot of choice eg. eggs, sliced meats and cheeses . Breads And pastries, cereal, fresh fruit Etc. only disappointment No tea making facilities in the room. Although a Kettle was available if you ask.

Restaurant was not as expected. Buffet style breakfast, cold fare only apart from boiled eggs. Evening meals at 22.5 euros per head were expensive for the poor fare and choice that was on offer. Staff were surly and generally unhelpful apart from the bar staff

It was situated in a nice quiet area near the beach. Easy tram links right outside the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff were really friendly. We will definitely return.

Nice and clean Hotel in convenient location.
This is kind of a hostel rather than a modern hotel as such. But for cost and service compared it was a good hotel. The room and area are clean. The reception team quite helpful. Wifi free but in the room reception wad not great. I arrived after 9pm so the restaurant was closed but the cafeteria made me a great sandwitch. It is a nice place just beside a main road but quite away from the actual road so no noise. I took a room which is family studio so had kitchen facility inside. No tea coffee arrangement in the room. Bed was ok. One room heater inside and in Nov it was still fine. Attached bathroom with shower and very nice clean. All seems to have been refurbished not long. Breakfast was basic but all seemed fresh and tasty. Coffee was great. Nearby small town of Blankenberg just 15 min walk which has good restaurant and shopping area. People are smiling and nice. Overall would love to stay again and will recommend to all.

Hostel-feeling hotel close to the beach
Rather retro hotel that seems like a former home for old people in style and look. Many pensioners as visitors but also some students. A distinct hostel-feeling overall. Lovely location with a short walk to the beach - but very strange that swimming was forbidden in early October.

Jammer dat een mooi gebouw zo slechts is onderhouden, we hadden een budgetkamer.. wat echt wel budget is.. oud en versleten. Ik zou het zelf geen hotel durven noemen. Want hotelservice is maar om de 2 dagen Ontbijtbuffet is voldoende en uitgebreid. Hopelijk krijgt deze accommondatie snel een update want naar locaties toe is het wel top

Aufenthalt vom 12.08. bis 15.08.2024 war eine absolute Enttäuschung. Von Hygiene kann hier absolut keine Rede sein, das Hotel ist dreckig und es wird überhaupt nicht darauf geachtet, die Zimmer sauber zu halten. Schmutzige Zimmer und mangelhafte Hygiene: Schon bei unserer Ankunft war das Zimmer in einem erschreckenden Zustand. Überall lag Staub, auf dem Boden fanden sich Schmutzflecken, und die Badezimmerfliesen schienen seit Wochen nicht geputzt worden zu sein. Es war offensichtlich, dass hier keinerlei Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt wird. Besonders schockierend war die Tatsache, dass die Wände teilweise mit zerquetschten Mücken und anderen Insekten verziert waren, lebendige Tierchen inbegriffen. Kein Room Service: Am nächsten Morgen wollten wir in ein frisch gereinigtes Zimmer zurückkehren – Fehlanzeige! Das Zimmer war in demselben katastrophalen Zustand wie am Vortag. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns zunächst gesagt, dass man schlicht vergessen habe, das Zimmer zu reinigen. Als wir das klären wollten, wurde uns vom unfreundlichen Empfangsmitarbeiter mitgeteilt, dass eine tägliche Reinigung nicht notwendig sei, selbst wenn man dafür bezahlt. Das ist inakzeptabel! Keine extra Decken: Außerdem wollten wir zusätzliche Decken haben, was in einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse eigentlich eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein sollte. Doch es gab keine, und unser Wunsch wurde einfach ignoriert. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Hotel niemandem empfehlen.

Unser Zimmer war im großen und ganzen von der Sauberkeit her ok. Spinnenweben in den Ecken und die Fenster müssten dringend mal geputzt werden. Die Flure waren in den Ecken leider sehr dreckig. Es wäre sinnvoll zusätzliches Personal hier einzustellen um eine bessere Sauberkeit gewähren zu können. Unser Zimmer war modern mit einer kleinen Küchenzeile eingerichtet. Top. Die Entfernung zum Strand war super kurz und man war sehr schnell an einem schönen und nicht zu unerfüllten Strand. Bis zum nächsten Städtchen waren es nur wenige Fussminuten entfernt. Dort gab es zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen. Eine Minigolf Anlage war am Hotel auch. Leider schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und ohne Sonnenschutz,der hier aufjedenfall fehlt. Trotzdem hatte unser Sohn viel Spaß. Auch eine Hüpfburg mit Wasser stand den Kindern zur Verfügung. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt waren die kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Leider war bei Ankunft um 18 Uhr unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig. Die sehr freundliche Reinigungskraft kümmerte sich aber umgehend darum. Top. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort und würden wieder dort hin fahren. Natürlich würden wir uns über ein bisschen mehr Sonnenschutz und mehr Sauberkeit sehr freuen :) Ach und Speise Karten bzw Getränke Karten vom Café unten wären auf dem Zimmer bestimmt sehr gut :)

Le réceptionniste pas sympathique. Il m'a facturé une 2ème fois le séjour, malgré que j'avais la preuve de paiement. Mais il n'a rien voulu savoir et m'a dit que je devais faire un mail de réclamation et que j'aurai un retour dans 14 jours. Toujours pas de reponse... Chambre pas très propre, sent le renfermé. Frigo dans la chambre fait beaucoup de bruit. Seul l'emplacement etait satisfaisant. Bref, je déconseille cet hôtel et jamais je n'y retournerai

Es war laut!! Minigolfplatz war gefühlt 24h geöffnet und auch entsprechend besucht. Hauptsächlich von kleinen Kindern… Nachtruhe vor Mitternacht unmöglich! TV mit 1 deutschen Programm (Comedy) - hätte man aber eh nichts verstanden, Umfeld war halt zu laut! KEINE Klimaanlage, alte belgische Steckdosen (Adapter erforderlich). Frühstück bis 9.45h möglich. Abgebrochener Heizungsregler, runtergerissene Lampe mit freiliegender Elektrik im Zimmer. Insgesamt eher Flair einer Jugendherberge

Het is niet het allernieuwste hotel, vooral gericht op ouderen en / of groepen, dus overbodige luxe moet je niet verwachten, MAAR het is wel in uitstekende staat, alles netjes onderhouden en proper.
