The room was superb, though maybe small to some's standard, but this is Tokyo, and for a room with basically everything you need (clothes washer/dryer, fridge, electric stove, microwave, rice cooker, shower/tub, clothes drying...etc), it is hell of a deal for what you are paying. Me and my wife bought many ingredients from the local market around the corner and cooked some meals in the hotel, much cheaper than eating outside and you can taste the local produce. The hotel staffs were very friendly and speaks good English. The room has no local TV but free Netflix, and also internet wifi connection. The best part, is the free Handy smartphone that was provided in the room, which saved my life because my phone actually broke on the night before we were heading to Japan. So having an extra smartphone with free internet connection was a huge life saver for me and the only time that I've every seem this service provided in a hotel, free! The only downside is that it is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest subway station, which is Oshiage, but after a few days you get used to it and we really enjoyed the work out.
