This is an older property, renovated and in excellent condition. My room had a dormer window that looked out over the hills and the rooftops of the city. The furnishings, lamps, rugs and artwork were beautiful. The bathroom was updated with exceptionally good design and function. This was Portuguese elegance at it most charming.

Hotel is very stylish, very well located- right across from Aqueduct and next to Praca Republica, close to University. Loved the personalized rooms, with names honoring Portuguese queens. The hotel is close to the old university. The aqueduct is near by. Rita, at the front desk, was very nice and helpful. Her suggestions for restaurants and places to listen Fado music were excellent. The room was great; breakfast ok. If I have to be picky, I can say I didn’t like the pillows.
