Quaint family-run hotel on Niderdorfstrasse
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is above a restaurant (which doubles as the breakfast area), so when we arrived early we left the baggage with the wait staff and they moved it into our room once the room was ready. Location was great, easy access to trams and good dining.

Staff were welcoming. Reasonably priced for what you generally pay in Switzerland. The room was clean but had oddly placed furniture. Hanging armor was right beside bathroom and very easy to bang your head in the night or at anytime for that matter. Television was mounted to the right of the bed so not in a good spot to actually watch. A/C machine was not working. Ok place but will not likely stay again.

Lovely boutique hotel, the rooms were clean and a decent size for a European city. It had a great location, right in Old Town and walkable to all the sights and the main train station. For being in such a busy tourist area the rooms were very quiet. The lift stopped working a few days while we were there and there wasn't anywhere secure to store bags before check-in or after checkout. The hotel is above a steakhouse restaurant and the common hallways did smell of food and meat during the evening but the rooms were always fresh.

Great location
This hotel is in a great location for walking around downtown. It was a little noisy at night with the windows open but it stops early enough for a good night’s sleep. It was clean and I would stay there again.

Convenient location in Zurich Old Town. Only 10 mins walk from Zurich HB station and 5 mins from Central tram station. Friendly staff. Bathroom was small but with a good shower. Resonable breakfast choice and quality. Bedroom No. 4.7 was very, very small, and could have been cleaner - there was a hair clip on the floor from a previous occupier. Throughout the night, the Air Conditioning (A/C) unit periodically made a loud rattling noise lasting for approximately 30 secs each time - this didn't make for sound sleeping. Some street noise with the bedroom window open (if the A/C was switched off due to rattling noise!). Value for money? - not really. Hotel Old Town served a purpose but we're not likely to be staying again.
