Your typical Japanese biz hotel
Great location close to the castle, station and Kurokabe square. Hotel itself is nothing special, rooms are small and if you're unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours you wont sleep much.

Paper thin walls
Hotel was ok but walls paper thin and I did not get a good night’s sleep once in two nights. The other guests were noisy and so was the main road nearby.
Also , the staff were very confused between new guests and current guests and had a strange policy of not allowing current guests access to their rooms before 3pm...
Like they do with new guests. Even though it was my subsequent nights stay.
In all it was well situated but not somewhere that is good for relaxation or peace and quiet.

2/10 Poor

From the outside it looked like a 70’s concrete box. The reception area is small and there is only one lift servicing eight floors.
The room itself, whilst clean was extremely dated (looked like the original fixtures and fittings with cheap plastic taps etc)
The mattress was very firm and the pillows has some strange plastic lining on one side, making them very uncomfortable.
As soon as you walk into the room you are hit by the stench of the carpet. It was horrible. The bottom sheet was 20cm short of the end of the mattress. Meaning everybody’s feet are directly onto the same mattress. UGH!… No bedside lights, no wardrobe, tiny bathroom.
We made the mistake of having breakfast. It was at the same standard as the rest of the hotel!!!
We stayed in 5 different places during our trip. The Green Hotel was not only by far the worst experience, it was also the most expensive.

reasonable price with public onsen
Clean room but quite small, hard to tidy two luggages at the same time. Comfortable onsen.
