Port Denarau area is a very nice area with shopping and restaurants all around. Nadi town is a busy bustling town with lots of local shops. The beaches aren't much to speak of but there are some amazing hikes around. We loved it here and will return!

Nadi is unique. It is slower than the average town. People walk/interact slowly and take every opportunity to enjoy life. Although it may look as a 3rd world country, I believe it is not. Driving around I found each interaction friendly and safe.

Excellent
There is a very nice coffee shop on the Nadi back road, South Pacific Coffee, and the Coffee Hub restaurant across the street is also really good. Above the Coffee Hub is a great co-working space, MyDesk, which I worked at during my last visit.

We stopped in Nadi to relax from a hectic tour schedule in New Zealand. This was a great decision - Denarau was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean and great food and hospitality of the Fijian people.

Its a city but the beaches are moments away from the airport. Very friendly and welcoming and stupendous weather for midwinter.

Nadi does become busy at times and access to main town does become cumbersome and tedious.

Limited shopping centres with modern facilities and air condition in hotels hot and humid summer days.
"We found the staff at Crowne Plaza were exceptional just soo good. We loved our stay. The food options are good, however for a coeliac the range is limited and proceed with some caution, but that can be said for much of Fiji however, what I did eat was delicious!
One thing we didn’t love and literally everyone we spoke to said the same - the music coming from the beach club was suuuuper loud, which yes it’s a beach club, but (during our stay) it wasn’t the partying kind of demographic and it was often pretty empty, so it was just kinda weird! - this is literally the only reason for this review! We would have loved to have used the space because it’s beach front and has lovely views and we did try, another couple put it well “read the room!”
Otherwise, we loved our stay and would 100% go back! "
"I like the location. It was close to supermarkets, restaurants, nightclubs, etc. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Outdoor compound was clean and beautiful. "
"The staff was the best part of my visit. Casa helped me during a panic situation and saw to it that I was alright. She checked me in early to the last room she had available after I had been traveling for 3 days. She showed me where the breakfast was and helped me with my travel bag and nap sack to my room so I could sleep. I've never had kinder service in my life. I will always stay there when I'm in Fiji! Thank you, Casa and all of the staff at the Capricorn. The airport shuttle person was also extremely helpful to me at the airport as I needed wheelchair service. He saw to it that I got it! Thank you!!"
"The staff are amazing and try their very best to accommodate everyone. Stayed here with my family and absolutely loved our time here. We can't wait to come back."
