"This is a nice property in general (very well maintained gardens, nice pool) and staff was very welcoming. However, our room was a bit run down, furniture beat up and carpet with many stains. It was cold outside when we were there (September) and the only way to heat the room was a wood burning fireplace which was not my cup of tea. "

"This is a great property as it has a range of stay options plus a separate place for day visitors who want to do a game drive. The 'tent' was quite luxurious and game drives informative and exciting. i liked the option to pay what you use and not just an 'all inclusive' which is better value for people who don't eat and drink huge amounts. Fully recommend. "

Our 2 rooms were both very well plamned and equipped, and the upstairs room was particularly spacious.

It was the perfect ending to our vacation: the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms tastefully and luxuriously furnished, the staff attentive, and the grounds beautifully maintained. The pool area is also a quiet oasis. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

The breakfasts were fine but all affected by load shedding. I appreciate they were out of the hotels control but surely if you know when the outage is you can prepare by having boiled kettles and flasks and toast too held in the oven . My other minor moan apart from the tiny pool was the difficulty of parking. It was very tight indeed. They had a free...

"Wish we had been able to stay another night as we loved this place so much. It's in such a beautiful spot with spectacular views over the bay.
Reception staff were all so friendly and welcoming and we had a fantastic dinner in the on-site restaurant that night with great customer service too.
Worth noting, there is a fairly long and steep hill to the shops/cafes/restaurants in the town so if you had mobility issues that may be a problem (unless you were driving)."
