"The rooms are above the resturant. Our room was nice, and clean, and really good sized. The hotel is next door to another good resturant, and there are several good places to eat within 100m or so. Go to the underground war museum across the street, and learn about WW1 and the western front."

"Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. My family and I felt very safe and welcome at this hotel. Very close to Beaumont Hamel Memorial site and the other Trail of the Caribou sites as well. Great breakfast. We stayed two nights and ate dinner at the Beluga (hotel restaurant) one evening. Food was delicious as were drinks. Reasonable prices. Great staff. "

"Lovely Hotel that is located on the town square, facilities were good, apart from the hotel bar never opening. We booked 3 room’s, 2 were good, 1 was small with a tiny shower! But apart from the tiny shower and closed bar a great hotel with great staff."

"We booked the suite room in this family run Château. We came away without the children for a weekend of peace & quiet but the family have children and a baby, the baby cried during the day and in the evening we heard a lot of banging on the floor above our room. It’s not pleasant if you want time away from kids. The room was tired and breaking, the bed was hard and the pillows were big square decorative pillows not sleeping pillows. it did not make for a comfortable sleep. The kettle was...

"Clean affordable place to stay while on the road. Can walk to LIDL to restock for travel in the AM. Breakfast available. Staff left me a key in lockbox to allow me to get into room arriving late."

"We have stayed at this Novotel many times before, sadly it’s now looking very tired and definitely needs modernising/updating. Staff always very helpful and efficient but during this stay they were definitely under staffed. Probably won’t stay here again until the premises gets some attention "
