10/10 Stay
Stayed here for the Alabama @ Kentucky basketball game in January. Perfect place to stay and within walking distance of Rupp Arena. Plenty of restaurants and things to do around the hotel. Parking is a little tight but it was mostly because there was so much snow and it blocked off some of the spots. But overall, a perfect stay. Very comfortable and quiet.

Promised wasn’t kept
We sat down to have dinner and after ordering drinks and the Bartender took our order- 20 min later the Manager for the Restaurant came to our table that the Kitchen closed early. So to make up for it they offered us 1 box of pizza! And free breakfast but I had already paid for Breakfast so they offer us points instead but still 10 days later still not received the points that was promised. In the morning Poor Taste of Breakfast and our utensils were dirty and my daughter grabbed an expired Joghurt from the breakfast bar😩

Not a good weekend
Girl at check in was rude. Very short. Don’t explain anything. Got to room, fridge doesn’t work, so hot you couldn’t breathe, sink broken, phone would not work. Vending machine on our floor did not work either. And parking was terrible!! Left a tag on the door to clean while we were gone on Saturday and came back that afternoon and nothing done. We call and the service comes and all she does is change trash cans and coffee. Slams the door and leaves.

Now I Know How Hell Feels
I came into town for a Kentucky basketball game. I have been coming to this hotel since 2012. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. It is right by Rupp Arena.
I get there on a Friday at around 3 and was told there would be an upcharge for checking in early. I never had to pay for one in the past. I was ok with it. Then I get to my room and it is hot. I shut off the heat and the room was ok then. I was on the 11th floor. My bed was too soft and sunk into the mattress. The shower head barely got any water out of it.
So on Sunday I check out early to try to get an early flight. I had no luck and the airport got shut down due to weather. I call the hotel for a shuttle. They redirected to the shuttle person, but they never answered the call. I left a message the second time I called. No one returned my call. An hour later I finally got a ride from Lyft.
I get back to the hotel and asked if they had a room for Sunday-Tuesday. They did. I was on 13th floor this time. The heat was so hot again that I turned it off. Even when I shut it off it was down it was so hot that I had to sleep in my underwear. Worst nights sleep that I have had. Was told it is an old hotel and I should have asked for lower floor and a corner room. The bartender told me her room was hot too and that the hotel was at 10% occupancy. So why in the hell did the hotel give us all the rooms on two high floors 12-13th floors. At least my shower head worked this time.

A great room with a snowy view
Staff were so helpful and friendly when I stayed here overnight- I am a nurse and needed to stay close to the hospital during a snow storm. Room service was delicious, the bed was so comfortable and the room was delightful. My new downtown Lexington favorite!

Thanks, but no thanks.
Parking situation was awful! Too us a half hour to find a spot bc they were selling spots for a show nearby. Should have been reserved for guests. Lady that checked us in wasn’t pleasant at all. 2 or 3 of the 4 elevators were out during our stay on the 14th floor. No room in the bar/grill to accommodate guests and folks wanting a bite/drink after the show at Rupp and severely understaffed. Rooms were so warm that we could t breathe.
For the amount of money we paid for the night, I’d have expected much better accommodations.

Elevators, elevators, elevators, elevators!
The stay was good. We were allowed an early check in which was nice. 2 of 4 elevators were down. This was HORRIBLE! The wait time to get to and from your room, from the lobby, was at a minimum at least 30 minutes the majority of the night. There was a huge Christmas party, many big sporting events on TV, and a sold out comedy show with 12,000 people across the street. We had to leave our hotel just to use the restroom. Ridiculous. Even check out was exhausting because we couldn’t get from our room to the car because of the elevator situation.
