The place was very dirty. Stayed three days and they never vacuumed the hallway . Toothpicks and crap on the floor. The front desk attendant was very rude when I checked in. I stood there for 10 minutes no one came out. Then he appeared and told me he was saying hello behind the wall. I didn’t hear him. He should have come out and greeted me. Very obnoxious when I tried to ask him where to go to our room.

I was in room 520 walking in a pool of water in the hallway mess ,up my shoes! Room had the smell of mold from the water, I think! I got there the room was half clean, ask the front desk to clean the room and they said every other day for cleaning! I got up 3am and checked out! Hotel said they can’t give me a credit because it came from you!

Seriously disappointed
It was a packed hotel with only one working elevator. Each time I had to catch the elevator the wait was over 5 mins at which time I would take the stairs to the 4rd floor. The bed had crumbs and such, the toilet had hair and the room smelled like dog. The hall way carpet was severely stained.the restrooms where unkept. The breakfast area was congested and many items were depleted of food before 8am.

Bugs in the room
Shortly after checking into our room, we started finding bugs (roaches) and killed at least 3 of them. My family was extremely bothered with that and it totally disturbed our TV family time. This is something I have never seen at a Hampton Inn hotel. The front desk attended found another room into which we had to move ourselves. In the morning, I wanted to bring this up to the hotel manager on my way out during the checkout at around 9:30pm and I was told that the manager won’t come in before 10am, that’s ridiculous!! Nobody in charge and on board at this hotel location, try to avoid it if you can!

Disappointed
It seems as if the Hampton's standard of service has diminished significantly over the years. After staying at this hotel over the past 20 years whenever visiting Ft. Lauderdale, I was very disappointed in the overall service. Stayed 4 nights, no maid service or clean towels after the first night. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were soft and flat. This is not the Hampton I use to know.

Comfy sleep
It was a good stay. Very comfortable sleep and the breakfast was great both mornings. Bathroom looked like it might had water damage before and possible mold. Thats my only negative. Otherwise it was in a great location.
