This listing is for a room that RentPlanet owns. There is *absolutely* no assistant from the building reception, which owns the rest of the building.
Check-in is a nightmare, we spent over 2 hours back and forth trying to get the lock code to access the unit. Make matters worse, if you do not have a local SIM card with a phone number. We managed to meet some very nice strangers to let us use their phones to make calls.
The first time, they processed our check-in, but the date was wrong (instead of 2024, the system thinks shows 1/1/2026) and no code was provided,
Only after the second try, get the date corrected and have access.
The total time spent on hold was over an hour! Phone calls get dropped in the middle a couple of times, as the person doesn't seem to understand English very well.
Once again, I really appreciated the strangers who helped us, to let us use their phones.
The room is listed as non-smoking, but there is a very strong smoke odor upon entry and the windows were opened. Even after we complained, no alternative was offered.
There are pots and pans in the room, but no cutlery makes them virtually useless.
Communication via Hotels.com virtual assistant is useless. Tried email and website, no response.
