I really like that I was able to get in late night. What I don’t line was that I have to go up stairs because is a old building and doesn’t have an elevator.

They messed up our reservation. Of the 3 night stay, we had a teeny-tiny room with a single bed & no A/C offered to us for the first night because they weren't expecting us! I had the reservation in hand to prove that we should have been expected. After an hour of deliberation on their part, they reimbursed us 200 Euros for the first night. They would not allow my husband to sleep on the couch in the front , so he had to be in the same room with me on a little tiny bed . He got no sleep and I got very little. We told them we were leaving the next morning and expected a full refund. They refused . They said it was our decision not to stay there the next two nights when there would be a two-bedroom room available. We would have left the first night, except there was an event in Madrid and nothing was available. I will say, the person that was staffed that night was very apologetic.

A couple of things I would suggest to improve your customer's experience is to first ensure that the photos of the rooms are accurate. The room I checked in was not the same room in the photo on the website. Second, perhaps put in the exact dimensions of the bed. The bed was too small to fit an adult comfortably. The room was rather claustrophobic, to say the least.

Worse Hotel ever, avoid at all costs
I booked twin room for my adult son & myself only to be given a tiny, windowless room, with a small double bed, and an arrogant and rude landlady who had no interest or concern and had a this is what I've got, we've given out the twin room to earlier arrivals!! Attitude of you didn't book with us so take it up with expedia, shocking worse hotel I've ever gone to, just walked out and found an alternative right opposite, Il Castillo, ten times better in every way, and same price, I'm now fighting for a refund.

hotel sencillo ideal para estancias breves
Es un hostal sencillo, un poco anticuado, pero suficiente para una estancia breve. La habitación individual es bastante pequeña, con una venta y puerta con vista a un patio interior sin persiana y con cortina que no oscurece la habitación cuando amanece. Cuenta con baño completo muy pequeño, en la habitación hay cama, un par de repisas a modo de mesillas y mesa, percheros en la parte de atrás de la puerta y en una pared junto a la cama, tiene calefacción que está puesta en todo momento, el baño tiene toallas, jabón y gel, y esta todo muy limpio. La recepcionista muy amable y cortés,

Pésimo. Una estafa. Sin aire acondicionado. Sucio. Toallas sucísimas. Inodoro sucio. Y la ducha peor. La recepcionista te mira de arriba a abajo como si fueses delincuente (cuando la delincuente parece ella). Fue un espanto de calor, en pleno agosto. Viajo todas las semanas y este cuchitril que se hace oasar por hostal es de lo peor que me he encontrado en 3 años en Madrid (viajo todas las semanas). Por favor, no vayan
