Comfortable but didn't feel safe and run down
The rooms were spacious and comfortable but it was definitely beat up with obvious patches in the walls from holes, even on the bathroom door and an old looking matress. The door looked like someone punched through it. Also the hotel door did not lock properly leaving us up all night watching the door.

My Go To Place
It is my go place in Desert Hot Springs. The rooms are dated but large. The beds and linens are comfortable. The property, pools and change rooms are lovely and serene. The restaurant is good as well. The price online is great! Lots of specials. I was just disappointed last time because the pools were all luke warm the night I arrived. Fortunately one or two were warmer the next day. They do say the hottest is 107 but that isn't true. Maybe 102.

You can look at my review on Yelp. But it’s not good and I would and will never do this place again. GROSS GROSS GROSS. I should have asked for my money back but it was late when I checked in. Do not stay for you own health.

Great stay for the price. The hotel is a bit dated, but perfectly comfortable. The staff are very nice, especially at the restaurant. I had a massage and facial and both were excellent. The water is lovely.

Roaches and cold pools
The rooms have roaches. Bad. I couldn't use the restroom overnight unless my husband went in to check for bugs first. He also got stuck in the elevator. And the pools weren't hot. A few were warm at best. Some were out of order. We had to order food from Walmart because I was concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen since they had roaches. I guess Crystal assumed the a Walmart bags meant we were poor. When I called about my deposit being returned, there were racist or classist overtones, with her assuming we used a government card to book. We've been going here for years, so they can see how we book. We used an app because booking directly we were subjected to unfair fees.

I love the mineral pools are amazing and the grounds around it are nice and well managed and that's why I come here. However, the rooms are in serious need of upgrading. Our room was dark, worn out and a light broke as soon as we got there. Hot water was also a problem but they fixed that. The beds are ok though, nice and clean and comfortable.
