Cool Tavern Stay
Very cool and beautiful decor in the lobby/sitting room. The fireplace was cozy and inviting. Very accommodating staff. Room had a vintage feel, but we lacked for nothing modern in amenities.

My stay was good. The front desk person was excellent. It is a very old hotel with old hotel challenges. Not all the outlets worked and I needed some help to make the TV work.

Historic hotels are fascinating time capsules with lots of interesting pieces and stories. Unfortunately, if the needed renovations are not done (fixing broken vanities, removing dusty seat covers, providing towels that are not rags, making available an outlet for a cpap machine), then all the charm of the property is lost.
I imagine that the ghost stories and the classic Italian restaurant will keep guests coming back. Unfortunately it won’t be us.

It is an older hotel however the staff was wonderful. I talked in passing with a good amount of staff. Everyone was friendly. Staff gave recommendations for restaurant and it was awesome. Although I was busy away from property I enjoyed my stay and will switch where I stay whenever I’m in north end of Ventura County. I’d recommend it price is half of big chain hotels. It’s walking distances to shops and restaurants. If you don’t need a gym or pool then why pay for it. I want a safe, quiet place, and found that here. It was clean & comfortable. And parking is free. Love that part!
Basically it is all the above choices.

I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. We only had a small mirror in the bathroom. We were in Santa Paula for a wedding. Therefore, a bigger mirror was needed.

Great historic place
Hotel was pretty clean for 100 year old building. Management was very responsive to exterior lighting (no blackout curtains) and turned off in consideration. Room was tidy. However my mattress was squishy and squeaky.

Every single staff member was pleasant and helpful. Enzo's is a great on site restaurant with a full bar. The Inn's location is great as you can walk to many restaurants. The downstairs area is open and allows for many people to hang out. This place has great personality.
