If you want to feel like a royal, come to this hotel. The staff was so service oriented and the hotel was so nicely decorated with high ceilings and gold everywhere - it was almost a bit overwhelming. The room was nice, and held a good standard, but perhaps a bit worn down. The pool area was great! And the breakfast was fantastic. There were so many options, and they had a lot of staff there who prepared many of the options fresh. Just WOW! We also loved the dinner we had at the pool restaurant. The only real drawback was lack of airconditioning in the hallways and public toilets, and that it wasn’t turned on in the gym in the morning. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Relaxing resort, great breakfast, pool and gym

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during our stay in Siem Reap. Starting from check-in to when we left, everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming! We went during the off-season, so the hotel was not crowded and we were able to enjoy the amenities (pool, gym) with very few people around. The gym is quite large (one of the biggest we've seen during our Asia travels so far) and the pool is also very nice. The daily morning breakfast is delicious with a variety of different options including made to order omelet, crepe and soup stations. The hotel is about a 5-7 minute tuk tuk ride from the main tourist area. This wasn't an issue at all since there are so many tuk tuk drivers around it was very easy to find rides whenever we needed them. Highly recommend this resort! Would stay here again next time we visit.

The Borei is a great property and the staff is very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, but is mostly the same each day (still many choices). The facilities are nice (pool, sauna & hot tub, & the wt room). Everything closes down at 10p, and meals (along with guest services) are a little pricey. Overall, was a good experience and I would recommend.
