Would highly recommend!
Great place! Two mins from the main square, but on a quiet street (so good for sleep!). Breakfast is a decent buffet until 10am and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The place has its own stylish cafe/bar which seemed popular, and we couldn't hear a thing from our room. The warm room itself looked cool, with a clean, comfy bed. Tea/coffee in the room would have been nice, but that's literally the only downside! You can leave your luggage on the last day too and it's a 20min walk from Bruges train station (pleasant walk through the beautiful town). Great stuff!

Small room and washroom/shower room. Could do with more storage space. Noisy environment.

Nice hotel really close to main square in bruges
Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cordoeanier, lovely welcoming staff. Great breakfast. My only issues were the room we stayed in was pretty small and the bed wasn't that comfy but overall great location and perfect for a couple of nights stay.

Just round the corner from the main square
Location excellent and a very nice cafe bar. The breakfast was fine, nothing outstanding, a daily change of cake may have pepped things up a bit! We were disappointed with our room. It was very small, the wardrobe was small, only room for a bedside table on one side. There was a small table and two stools, but there was no way you could use them! The bathroom again was very small, no shelf in the shower to put your bottles. The towel hooks were wobbly, but did take the weight of the towel. The staff were friendly Be mindful there is no lift.

Hotel Cordoeanier
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Cordoeanier. The staff were very friendly and helpful in every way - they prepared a small breakfast bag for us since we had to leave early on our last day. The room was clean and quiet. The location is great - short walk to main square - the buses drop you off there as well. We highly recommend this hotel.

Mixed emotions
Unfortunately I approached the hotel with negative feelings due to the way they handled a booking mistake by Hotels.com. I was suggested and booked a room that was supposed to take 3 adults and 1 baby. The hotel contacted me saying that I've booked 4 people in a 3 person room and they won't have a bed for the baby and that I have to pay an additional 10 eur for the baby's breakfast (which is advertised as 'free' on the site). This led to an exchange of a few emails with the hotel and a few telephone conversations with Hotels.com. The latter admitted their mistake and refunded me the 10 eur which I then had to pay directly to the hotel. What annoyed me about this is that the hotel made a big deal of this and instead of handling this directly with Hotels.com they involved me and caused me all this aggravation before my holiday has even started. And all for a breakfast that a 1 year old baby doesn't even have. Apart from that the hotel was good for it's 2 stars, had a good free wifi and the staff were very friendly. Parking is difficult in the centre and the one way streets make a nearby underground parking not easy to reach.

Fab bar with a HUGE range of excellent beers!!!
Stayed 5 nights and each night we always spent time in the Hotel bar - too many beers to chose from! The bar staff were very knowledgable about the beers and recommended beers after we described our perfect beer! Will definitley be back!!!

Basic room but good overall
We stayed in Bruges for one night so purposely chose a very cheap and basic room knowing we were hardly going to be there, our expectations were met. The hotel in General seemed very good based on the short time we were there, very friendly and helpful staff, bar area looked cosy with a good selection of beers, breakfast was good. The location is fantastic, a minutes walk from the Maarkt. I'd recommend but go for a more expensive room if you want luxury.

Nice Hotel, friendly staff
Very nice hotel & friendly staff. Unfortunately, despite their website saying tea & coffee making facilities and room service are available, these are no longer offered. Nevertheless, we had a lovely stay in a beautiful city.

Beer lover's paradise
Nice little hotel, in an amazing location for sightseeing. The part we stayed in was recently refurbished so good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. The best feature of the hotel in my opinion however was the cafe/bar 'Rose Red' (where breakfast is served) which is a well-known bar serving around 200 belgian beers. the waiters are very knowledgable and give great service, pouring all the beers for you in the correct method (most bars just plonk the bottle and glass in front of you). there's a nice little courtyard out the back that gets a bit of sun in the afternoon and they also have snacks like local salami and cheese, served with firey mustard. worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel. Only negatives - the bathroom was very small and the door was loosely-fitting sliding door so there's very little privacy. We were on the 2nd floor with 2 flights of stairs and no lift, which was ok for us but if you have trouble with stairs i'd request a room on the 1st floor. Also the wifi signal was not strong enough to reach the top floor of the hotel. If you plan to leave your luggage with them after check-out, i'd suggest you bring luggage locks as they just keep them in the foyer.

Perfect place to stay in Brugge A++++
This hotel is in a great hotel and the rooms have been recently renovated. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English. The Breakfast was quite good too. Only negative was the room had a curtain on the bathroom instead of a door.

Good location
The hotel was in a good location & was reasonable but not great value, good breakfast. The walls of the hotel are very thin so getting a good nights sleep if the people next door are noisy could be a problem. But as I said it is two star & in that regard with location & breakfast overall 3 out of 5 would be correct. English speaking news channel on t.v. Would be good idea also.

A convenient, simple hotel
This hotel was basic but met our needs. Good breakfast; clean, quiet room and a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. However, there was no lift and the room was very small, even by European standards, without air conditioning. If you are looking for a simple, low budget hotel in a great location, this is for you.

Cozy and convenient
We really enjoyed our stay here, and the service was courteous. The price was reasonable, and the room was comfortable, though the bathroom was a little small and generally the room and building were too quiet. But overall, great stay!

Nice hotel and amazing cafe bar
The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed was very comfy. The Hotel is located right off of the main square and close to every major sight. To top it all off the Cafe Bar downstairs is really pretty and has a great selection of beers served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would highly recommend staying here and would not hesitate to stay the again if I went back to bruges

4/10 Fair

We stay in hotels while on vacation as a place to sleep and shower and are, therefore, not very picky about where we stay or even the amenities at the hotel. Provide us with a clean bed, shower, and free breakfast and we're happy. I'm surprised to say that I was rather dissatisfied with this hotel. When we entered the office to check in with the front desk no was available. No matter - we rang the bell. No one appeared for several minutes. We were a little confused, but eventually someone did come. This wasn't a big deal, but with the overall picture in mind it didn't help. After we checked into our room, we went up a windy staircase and I began to worry. There were bags of junk and some cleaning supplies in the hallway, apparently resting in their normal storage places. The room confirmed my fears. The carpet was threadbare and filthy, with spots and stains everywhere. So rule # 1: Don't stay at this hotel without a pair of flip flops to put on your feet. The wallpaper was not only peeling from the walls, but had a lot of dirt on it. Rule # 2: Don't lean against anything. The room itself smelled a bit moldy. The bathroom in fact had mold along the wall and there was some moldy-looking residue on the shower walls. Rule # 3: Don't expect the room to be clean. Last, the people in the next room arrived back late in the evening. If I understood Spanish I would have eavesdropped on their entire conversation. The walls were very thin; usually I don't notice this, but it was very apparent at this hotel. Rule # 4: Don't make any noises you don't want your neighbors to hear! Apparently we were unlucky to have been in the old part of the building. I see some of the other rooms look quite different and from the reviews I see that there may be two different areas of the hotel. I can't speak for the other side, but the room we had was pretty bad. Book at your own risk and, if you do, I would call to specifically request that you are put into one of the newer rooms. Perhaps you will have a better experience than we did.
