Hotel Jagerhorn is a treat. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and I was able to rest there. Its central location is perfect. Breakfast is good. It is in a pedestrian zone, so no parking right at the hotel, but they have a small lot nearby, where I parked. Staff is super-polite and helpful.
Great for me, but it may not be for everybody. It has no elevator, so if you don’t like steps, that may trouble you. If you are on the upper floor (the hotel has just 18 rooms) the roof will slant over you, welcome to architecture. And, finally, the building’s AC is too weak for the task, so in very hot weather your room may never get comfortably cool.
For location, ambiance, service, and all-around classiness, this is a superb hotel, and will be my first choice if I am fortunate enough to visit Zagreb again.
