The English speakers were good at providing service, however those were few are far between. The staff seemed very proud that they didn't speak English, despite this being an American chain extremely close to an international airport. I also called ahead of time to confirm there was an airport shuttle, only to find out there actually was none. So maybe its only for Brazilians? The rooms were small and dark, and was only provided a thin top sheet as a blanket. The AC was "running" but did not actually provide cool air, so the room is incredibly stuffy and poor circulated. There was mold present in the bathrooms and in the room itself.
While the restaurant was surprisingly good, the rooms itself were dingy and the rude service from the night crew, who seemed more interested in conversing with each other than helping guests, really soured my impression of this hotel.
I would avoid this hotel unless desperate. They do not welcome non-Portuguese speakers.
