Great hotel. Quiet. Very accommodating staff. There are some stairs to get to the hotel room but easily managed. There is no real lobby but we liked that because we felt like we were in our own palace. We rarely ran into any other people stating there. The room was beautiful and huge. We loved our time there and would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in the Chiado neighborhood. The hotel is an old palace so the rooms are the perfect mixture of historic charm with modern amenities. The hotel staff was super helpful and welcoming, they even booked our restaurant reservations each night! You also can’t beat the breakfast and the VIEW!

Goregous old building with an interesting history. The room was enormous even by American standards. Breakfast is prepared fresh and delivered to your room daily. This hotel is a converted 1846 residence. It still contains many fine details of the era like fine plaster ceilings, yet still feels comfortably modern. The staff is very attentive to guest needs.
