Chefchaouen Medina is a small community trying to please its guests. No one was overly pushy but they do invitee you to try their restaurant or store. If you say no thanks, they don't keep pushing. They were also good for directions and suggestions

Excellent
The Blue City is rumored to have been made that way to attract tourists. Even if true, it has worked well-in a good way. It supports lovely shops with a wonderful selection of local goods, art, fabric and rugs.

Beautiful and charming. Very difficult walking, especially for those with physical limitations. Also easy to get lost!

We'd recommend staying two nights. Nice town to relax and escape the loudness of the large cities.

Some people wont share my opinion, but there are hundreds of feral cats here. The smell of cat urine is prevalent and unpleasant.

Fantastic.. The problem with selling hashish is that many people walk by and ask you to buy hashish, and this is disturbing and disgusting.
"We stayed at the Dar Jasmine for 2 nights last week, and I can honestly say our stay was unbelievably comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed the Dar jasmine.
Hotel grounds are stunning, we loved the individual room names and themes, we stayed in the Nairobi and Tokyo rooms. Both were unique and stunning, our favourite was the Tokyo since it has a balcony overlooking the Chefchaouen.
We were greeted by Abdel, he was welcoming and gave us all the knowledge we needed for our stay in Chefchoen. Mehdi and Charmea always attended to all our needs during breakfast, Morad served us drinks and dinner, his service was attentive to all our needs, I’m a picky eater and I can honestly say I was not disappointed with the food at Dar jasmine. Morad arranged us dessert late night, this cheesecake was to die for, wish we ordered to 2.
This hotel does have a lot of steps to get to the main reception, the view you get to experience is well worth the steps plus the 2 porters Said and Said were ever so helpful with helping with luggage.
I will most definitely visit Dar Jasmine again.
Apologies to Dar Jasmine for breaking the beautiful tagine (each room has a tagine with delicious Moroccan cookies)

"The hotel is right on the edge of the Medina so very close to those beautiful blue houses and restaurants. The pool and outdoor dining next to it had a beautiful view."
"Excellent property! We really enjoyed our stay in this Riad (newly renovated) and its convenient location. Staff was excellent, breakfast served on of the rooftops or on the first floor. Thanks to all for the great memories! "
