Great country pub
Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests. Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic.

Bedroom very clean and bed really comfortable. Shower excellent, shower cream & body lotion, fluffy white towels hairdryer all in room. Tea & coffee AND hot chocolate, BISCUITS & enough milk. Charming Pub With Rooms
The rooms were spotless and very good value-for-money. We only paid for a twin room,yet we were given adjoining rooms with a bathroom in-between. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a great choice for breakfast. My only complaint was that it was a little cold and I couldn't work out how to programme the heating to come on with the remote control - it seemed very complicated.
