The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The brand new room was lovely. My only complaint is that although the bedroom and separate living area has good room darkening draperies, the bathroom had a sheer window covering. We could see people walking one the street below through them, so we knew they could also see us with the light on, so we couldn't dress or shower in there during hours with din lighting.

La Villa des Consuls is located in the heart of old Sarlat, with all the amenities that entails. The staff is nice and helpful, putting us in touch with a great guide and setting up our taxis to and from the rail station. Breakfast is tasty and reasonably priced, but above all, our two bedroom room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. It also included a usable kitchen and a small balcony overlooking the main commercial street. Despite that, it was quiet. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in an apartment with a terrace area overlooking the street. It was a beautiful location and the accommodation was lovely. The kitchen and bathroom were slightly dated but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Wonderful location to experience the central area

We loved the hotel! We had a separate bedroom for our daughter and plenty of room to spread out. As mentioned by others the parking garage available for a daily price is a few blocks away but overall not a huge inconvenience. We would definitely stay there again if in that area.

A terrace over looking the old city makes this a fun place to stay. Not easy to find but once you do it is a perfect inner city location. Lovely staff. Large suites, dated but functional and quirky. If driving recommend the extra $ to park.

The La Villa Consuls is a historic property and right in the hearts of Sarlat. Very spacious with high ceilings and beautiful wood floors. This two bedroom apt was a highlight of our trip. My sons enjoyed having their own bedroom, and I loved how bright any airy the apt was. The location is perfect. We stayed here for three nights. The location is fantastic ,however if you struggle to walk this is not for you as which ever way you approach the hotel you have a steep walk. If you have a car reserve a parking space with them as parking is not easy to find. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable and the staff at reception very helpful

Beautiful city and this is a great place to stay. We had a major problem with our rental car and Property Manager, Valentine was so helpful. His English is excellent and he is very caring. He salvaged our trip for us. Great breakfast also.
