Great hospitality.
Issue with the door pad not working, not letting me in with card. The management did their best to resolve and fix asap. Also offered compensation for the inconvenience of fixing the door which was a first in Iceland, A+ on the hospitality side. Room was nice. Was able to open window and use provided fan to get room to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Only negative was the horrible low flow shower head which might be more of an Iceland or city issue. I would stay here again.

Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom a nice size. Nice to have free parking and within walking distance to little shops and restaurants. There was a food court one block away that was frequented by locals and tourists alike. The dining are for breakfast was large and the buffet well appointed. The staff was quick to clear tables. The hotel itself is minimalist and modern. Very walkable to restaurants and shops. My specific downside about this hotel is my room smelled like sewage the whole time. Since they were fully booked, they could not switch me out. It was unbearable. The front desk person said it was because it's "windy" outside but my friends who had 2 different rooms did not have this issue.

We were on 4th floor and it was hotter than !@#$. NO A/C..TINY window for ventillation...they had 3 elec. Car chargers and only 1 was being used by elec. Car..other 2 occupied by gas vehicles..one of which was an employees car..who at first was not interested in moving it for us (we had elec. Car)..he finally moved it so we could charge. If I were you...stay somewhere else.
