Superb example of a fantastic B&B
Extremely welcoming and made to feel totally at home. Everything I could have wanted was available and the brekafast in the morning was fit for a king. The host was very helpful with an issue I had and I would definitely book again if I was in the area.

A welcoming arrival and very comfortable stay.
Host Gordon & Evonne made us feel so welcoming with their smiles and happiness, showing us to their lounge room after we unpacked and making us tea after a long journey. Only there for one night but prepared us a delicious breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. We wish them well.

Our hosts were amazing. So friendly and welcoming. Our room was warm, spotlessly clean and spacious. The breakfast was way above what we had expected, with seasonal fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal followed by a full breakfast made of the highest quality produce. All accompanied by fresh filter coffee to send us on our journey. Thank you Yvonne and Gordon.

Yvonne and Gordon were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much of an effort for them. Coffee and tea when we arrived, superb breakfast options plenty of it. The B&B was lovely and comfortable, in a beautiful location and we would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Torbeckhill Bungalow. Yvonne and Gordon were excellent hosts and treated us royally. Yvonne surprised us with tea upon our arrival, seating us on their patio with a panoramic view of the countryside. She called to book a dinner reservation for us and opened the lounge for us upon our return. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean with every amenity we needed and more. Breakfast was sumptuous and we loved the conversation even more than the food! We would highly recommend staying at Torbeckhill. It was simply wonderful!

Excellent find
Excellent overnight stay, just wished more than one night. Amazing location, wonderful views. The hosts made us feel very welcome and like a home from home. Absolutely perfect, breakfast superb. Great start to our NC500 trip. Would highly recommend.

EXECELLANT .
If one could DREAM of a two day visit to a property in which one could RELAX with out any worries, TORBECK HILL would be the ONE . But do not come off the A 74 M fromGlasgow at junction 19 because as OLDIES & not using Sat Nav you will be in trouble in the DARK . Narrow lanes ,twisty , unable to read any signs that were not covered with vegitation , & having driven over 200 hundred miles down thro SCOTLAND WE WERE LOST ! ! .A 2 nd t phone to the owners produced a remark , STAY there I will come down the road to you. The SIGN was in the HEDGE 50 yards from us , so we could SEE the next DAY . Even people we asked did not know of TORBECK HILL ! ! Just one & a half miles up this lane & we were lead to this LOVELY BUNGALOW & SALVATION . PERFECTION it WAS . TWO VERY TIRED TRAVELLERS Soon forgot what had gone on those HOURS before . THANK YOU the TORBECK TWO .

After a long and fraught journey the warm welcome and pot of tea was much appreciated. The property is spotlessly clean and the hosts could not be more welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was probably the best we have had anywhere. The comfortable bed ensured a good night’s sleep setting us up for the day. First rate all round

Excellent!
Excellent stay. The hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was lovely with fantastic views and the food delicious. Possible the best B&B we've ever stayed at. Highly recommend!
