Its good to be relaxing at a place without TV, internet and phone once in a while. The Queen Eco cottage was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff at the hotel. Highly recommend the Pieman River cruise even if its not on the Arcadia.

Lovely spot
Great kayaking
Nice hosts
Haven't had to boil a kettle on a gas stove for 28 years, but necessary where there's no surplus of electricity. Took me back!

We loved the fact that we were able to stay at a property in the Tarkine wilderness area. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was a pleasant experience serving good quality food.
Not having a TV, internet and no mobile connectivity was a benefit

Beautiful off grid accommodation with no wifi, phone reception or TV's. Amazing staff and delicious food at the Tarkine Hotel. Lots of walks to do and a great river cruise. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed here before and decided to visit again as part of our trip to the South west. Wonderful to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the quiet and peace of the wilderness. No TV or internet, just us.

Great Place for Walks and Pieman River Cruise
Great "off the grid" stay. No wifi, internet or TV access but you stay here to appreciate the Tassie Wilderness. Cottages are large, clean and functional. Beds a little uncomfortable but overall a great stay. Would recommend to self cater otherwise you only option is to eat at the tavern. Note that the shop has only very limited supplies
