We loved the Menger! It is right next to the Alamo and has a beautiful green space with a stage in front of it. The hotel itself has a gorgeous garden, vintage bar and open sitting areas. It is located next to a nice mall, fun attractions and is a block away from the Riverwalk. We highly recommend The Menger Hotel!

Hands down best place I have stayed at in San Antonio. I loved the style of the hotel due to being the oldest there but the memory lane of the place just makes you feel as if you were there back in the old days. Cleanliness was amazing, staff was phenomenal, and just all around an amazing hotel. I won’t stay anywhere else whenever I’m visiting San Antonio.

Being next to the Alamo is pretty amazing, as is the history of this fine establishment. The Menger is a fairly priced, charming hotel in the heart of it all. The staff was kind and added the final note to the ensemble.

Magestic and comfortable. The beds are a dream and the pool.such a nice get away. The dinning room had enough ambiance that you overlook the breakfast price. We loved it but was not expecting a pricey room deposit but it was absolutely the best stay. Thank you our family loved it.
