Not a 5 star experience
Checked in late having travelled most of the day to be told breakfast finishes at 1030. Arrived at breakfast at 1020 to be seated in the ‘walkway’ due to the main restaurant being set up for lunch (1230) and a lot of the food not being replenished! Even after telling the reception staff of this and our first impressions being awful no apology received and a shrug of the shoulders!
Room was tired and bed for daughter which should have been a double was a single.
The spa area was closed and although we were advised a couple of days before hand it staggered me that they would do this over a busy Easter period. This isn’t and wasn’t a 5 star experience which was in complete contrast to the hotel we stayed in zermatt. Celebrating my wife’s 50th which although I mentioned upon booking was never recognized throughout our stay.
