This was a great find! The Union Hotel is a quaint boutique hotel that's within walking distance of a lot of attractions. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed lulled me to sleep every night, and the shower was nice! When I come back to Toronto, I will stay here again.

Top notch brand new hotel

Desk staff was amazing. Rooms were immaculately clean and all decor was excellent. Food and service at the cafe was excellent. Only downside is no parking affiliates with the hotel available had to use city parking garage underground but next door.

Great boutique hotel

We had a fantastic stay, the hotel is still under construction, but it did not disrupt our evening at all. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Its steps from union station and there is a lovely coffee shop in the lobby.

Stay and communication was great, room was small and cozy which we were ok with.. bed was supposed to be a queen but was smaller which made sleeping 2 in the bed tight and harder to sleep properly.. washroom was nice and modern… There’s no parking on site but was available next to building underground for an extra charge

Super super location all newly renovated

The hotel has completely been renovated. They’re all new beds new linens excellent pillows the TVs are very large. Check-in was very easy and the staff was very friendly. They have a nice bar in the lobby area although a bit pricey. I also like that it is so close to Union station And also you can walk to the underground shopping.

A Hidden Gem!

The hotel was such a cute surprise, and a good price for downtown Toronto. Fantastic location, the lobby is a nice place to work and the rooms were nice and clean. The only note which I have seen from other reviews is the heating/ac machine is quite loud and the room was rather warm but still had a comfortable sleep. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I will stay here again!

New Inviting Hotel with Personality

The Union hotel has only been open a few weeks and we were happy to share in its debut. Great location downtown; walkable to harborfront, Second City and restaurants. The lobby is inviting and open feeling with several seating areas, a comfy fireplace, and cafe with varied food options reasonably priced. All staff were friendly and helpful. Although the 2 rooms we had were relatively small, they had well designed spaces with very comfortable beds and interesting art work. The bathroom was small; shower was good size, worked well and all was very clean.

The location was GREAT! Unfortunately the value for the money was not. The room we had was very small, really warm with no window opening or ability to turn on a fan or AC. We did not sleep well as the noise level from outside (5 floors high) was crazy, and you can hear your neighbours every word!
