Future stays
First room was not clean, carpet was stained, some broken furniture, view was the garbage cans and the back fence. Requested another room, very clean, view of swimming pool, quiet, great breakfast, lovely kitchen and housekeeping staff. This will be our future stays in Taos.

The hotel was clean. The breakfast was superb. The front desk was not that helpful. For example, there were no towels at the pool and after calling them, we had to go to the desk to get more towels. When leaving, we wanted a copy of the bill, they told us they would email it to us and we have never received it. So the people at the front desk need to care more!

The couch is very dated orange n uncomfortable to sit the mattress are hard and not good for side sleeping no give and fills its pushing back on you. Everyone here has been very friendly and attentive if we need anything. Breakfast was good and hot.

This Hampton Inn is below most Hampton Inns standards. We had no smoke. Alarm, the main lamp was missing the top so it wobbled every time you brushed it, there were two light bulbs out in the ceiling fixture in the bathroom, the shower leaked and had mildew, but the final issue was the nozzle in the shower was all wonky and finally came off! No shower on our second morning!!! The manager did give us one night free after my husband took the handle to the front desk. We had several people staying there also, each one of their rooms had issues also. The owner really needs to renovate this place in order to quit getting bad reviews!l

Hilton Hotels Are Simply The Best
I’m a long-term member of Hilton Hotels and almost always find them to be top-notch. The Hampton Inn Taos continued that tradition with a quick check in, clean and comfortable room, a quiet evening and a decent breakfast buffet in the morning. Having a maintenance background, I noticed a couple of very small maintenance issues, but the only one impacting me was the ice machine was out of commission – not good for a day when I wanted to fill my mug up for the road. In conclusion, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here next time I’m in Taos.
