The room was great- very spacious! The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and everything was clean.
Only issue was I called the day before to see if I could check in early: they said it shouldn’t be a problem, call at 10 am in the morning to be sure. 10 am I called. The gentleman at front desk said that he was sending cleaning staff in then, and he would call me soon as it’s ready. I waited and waited, no call. At 1:30 pm, still no call so I went to the front desk to see if we could check in. The man at the front desk said he was sorry I didn’t get a call, but he cleaning staff was heading into our room right then, and it’ll be ready in 30 minutes. I was frustrated, but went to lunch. I came back at 3:30, and the room still wasn’t ready. I spoke with a 3rd man, and he apologized but said it hadn’t been “checked yet” and I would have to wait. By this time, we were late meeting our friends and way behind schedule. I waited another 1/2 hour and was extremely agitated . A woman came out from the back and apologized and said there was a mix up but the room was in fact ready. My husband and I went to the room and there was a worker in there. He said he was “fixing the toilet paper roll” and would be done in a minute. By the time I met up with my friends, we were 2 hours late. So I’m torn, hotel room itself (I reserved the largest, most expensive room abvailable) was great.. service was severely lacking from the start.
