We had a great time at The Amelia this past weekend. The property is beautiful, and we loved how the whole house was usable to our discretion: there was a living room with a fireplace, the kitchen was stocked with breakfast items and snacks kindly prepared by the hosts, and the backyard had a fire pit perfect for the cold weather we experienced. The rooms were also very cozy and spacious. Would definitely go back again or recommend to anyone considering a trip to the area!

Beautiful house, easy walking distance to the center of Hudson. The Guest Pantry was well stocked with coffee & tea, fresh fruit and pastries.

Anne and Robin at The Amelia were an absolute dream come true for my recent 3 day trip to Hudson. Everything from check in to house keeping was seamless and an example of top notch customer service. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and made it an unforgettable experience. I would recommend The Amelia to anyone looking for a place to stay in Hudson or surrounding area. I will be returning sooner than I originally thought!

Clean, quiet and restful. Misty (I hope this is your name!) manages the property and greeted me and my mom when we arrived. She was highly attentive and friendly and bakes amazing brownies.
My favorite part of my stay was the bathtub (only in Room 3) and waking up to a warm quiet room and sleeping in. I live in a busy city and have not felt this relaxed in a long time. Very comfortable mattress, though I would have loved a double bed option for 2 guests.
If I would change anything, it would be to have one phone number and one point person. Anne wrote to me to confirm my booking, then I spoke with Shannon, and then with Misty once we arrived, however, I did not have Misty's number and had to communicate through Shannon. I tried texting as I wanted to leave a tip, but was ignored once I got my bags and checked out late. This was a disappointing note to leave on.
That said, everyone was so helpful and we had flexibility with check-in and check out and could store our luggage -- which was great.
Overall, the property looks and feels just like the photos. I hope to come back one day soon.
