Good stay

Comfortable and quiet. We had a quick one night stay and were happy with the room. The bed was clean and the bathroom was as well. Some areas of the hotel were a little questionable and the area was kind of scary, bad neighborhood. Some homeless people hanging out around the property. But we had no issues from them during our stay. Also parked our vehicle for 10 days on the property and no issues.

Experience staying at at this place

One of the lady’s at the front desk was really nice but the first floor had a very strong odor of Mariguana the entire time we stayed witch was 3 days and when we brought it up to another front desk lady got mad and very defensive I wouldn’t stay there again specially if you have kids with you

It appeared that the hotel is used as a Group Home or a Recovery Home. The ownership needs to figure out how they want to operate the property. It should be a hotel or a Group Home.

Overall stay was good. I do wish breakfast was until 10 on weekdays and 11 on weekends. Last night we were there the keycards for the entire hotel stopped working. Waited over 1/2 hour to get into our room. They did their best but it wasn't fun waiting until after 10 to get in.

This is a decent property for a night before a cruise. The front staff desk was very friendly. Its clean for the most part. The biggest issue is the lack of security at the main lobby, seemed to have random people entering the breakfast area in the morning.

Friendly Staff

The staff was excellent and super friendly. The issues I had were with the room. There was some sort of musty smell as soon as you walked in and no amount of spray could cover it up. I also had to kill a couple of roaches in the bathroom. My allergies were terrible and I’m not sure if it was from something blooming outside or if it was from whatever the source of the musty smell was. The bed was comfy though and all the linens were clean. Not sure that I would stay here again though.

Even tho I prepaid on the hotels app, the hotel called me and said I needed to pay them or my reservation would be canceled. So now, I’m out twice the room fee, spent an hour on phone with hotels.com and still no response from the property. Also, the area was terrible and scary - and I normally like budget hotels.

Beautiful hotel once you are inside the property. Clean and good breakfast. However, the surrounding area is scary at night. People everywhere, obviously impaired and asking for money, etc. So check in before dark.

No place to go...

The desk clerk told me that the neighborhood was not a safe place to walk in the evening. She's suggested that I stayed on the property to be safe. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was ONLY carbs (waffles, bagels, cold cereal, etc.) For the price it was a good place. No accessibility to anything. No stores, no parks, no nothing.

The property reeked of marijuana and had a lot of people with transient housing situations at and around the property. The property itself was fine, the staff was lovely, the breakfast was good. Overall, I would stay there again. It's certainly worth the money spent, I do wish they would do something about the people clearly smoking marijuana inside the building.

Hotel apparently doubles as a homeless shelter. Bums laying on sidewalk entrance and pot smell everywhere. Very sketchy part of town. Front desk staff are nice but hotel needs a major overhaul.
