Charming and historic bed and breakfast
Absolutely wonderful stay for 3 nights for a mother-daughter trip! I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Beautiful historic building with charming furniture in the parlor and rooms. Delicious full breakfast each morning and the menu changes daily. Easy to walk to local restaurants and sites, but also easy to hop on/off the local DOT shuttle bus. Hotel is located directly across from gorgeous Forsyth Park. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Southern hospitality at its best!
Great historic Inn located across the street from beautiful Forsyth Park. Inn was beautifully decorated inside and out. Room was small, but comfortable. Nice linens and strong shower ticked all the boxes. All staff we encountered were welcoming and helpful. In addition to a hot breakfast, the Innkeeper went the extra step of offering a happy hour at 5:00 and a dessert later in the evening. Parking is on-street but we had no difficulty finding a spot right by the Inn. Savannah is such a great walking city, we never moved our car till we departed.

8/10 Very good

Would certainly return for another visit!
Hubby and I recently celebrated our anniversary in Savannah. Rather than stay in a hotel we wanted something more personal, so we booked a three night stay at the FPI. There’s much to like about this property, but every B&B I have visited has been a bit quirky and this one is also. First, they advertise free parking, but there’s no parking lot, no portico, nothing. Customers use the on street parking that is generally available in the area. Watch for the signs which say when the street sweeper is coming through, and the parking is indeed free. We ended up a couple of blocks away from the inn, but we saw other folks get lucky and park close by. The Inn faces a busy street (Whitaker) but the entrance is on W Hall. It’s a steep marble half staircase and you buzz them upon arrival. After check in, they give you a code. We had to wait a bit while the attendant helped another couple, but the service is amazing. She asked us what we wanted to do and what we wanted to eat, then gave us a map pointing out suggestions. Then she took us to our room, which had a sitting area, a bar area, and a private bathroom with a claw foot tub. The room was serviced each day, which is a big plus nowadays. The inn is very historic, and that’s either charming or annoying, depending on your tastes. We liked the decor and food, including wine in the late afternoon and dessert in the evening. Annoying aspects include the creaky stairs, very dim lighting, a rather small television, and the noisy street.

Perfect Savannah Stay
The location is absolutely superb-the Inn sits right across the street from Forsyth Park and steps from its iconic fountain. We stayed in the cottage in the beautiful, serene courtyard. It was perfect! Breakfast served in the main house wherr you can sit in the parlor or on the veranda overlooking the park as we did every morning. You really couldn't ask for a better view to start your day! The staff were all very helpful and attentive- we have already recommended the Forsyth Park Inn to friends and family. We would most certainly stay again when we visit Savannah.

Forsyth Inn
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was beautiful and roomy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and liked bring able to chose a time so we could rest a bit in the mornings after lots of walking the day before. The Inn had light snacks in the afternoon w/wine and late night treats! Home was in a great location with the trolly stop or local bus stop nearby. Forsyth Park was so picturesque. Loved seeing all the locals walking/running and dogs playing. Would highly recommend.

Our room was so nice! The bed, fireplace, curtains and the sunk in bathroom was super cute. And it had a jacuzzi, we didn't have time to enjoy it though. We also skipped breakfast so we could sleep in. Would defiantly stay again!

We actually stayed at the sister property azalea as forsythia had no power due to the hurricane. The switch was made with no fuss and we even got an upgrade. I didn’t see Forsyth but if it was anything like Azalea it is amazing.
