We stayed here to visit Highclere Castle. It was only a 2 minute drive to the castle so very convenient. The breakfast and bar food were good.
The rooms were small but perfectly adequate with tv and tea and coffee making facilities

A story book stay!
This was a charming pub and inn. The rooms are small but cozy, very clean, and very comfortable. It felt like staying in a story book English inn and we loved it! We stayed there to tour Highclere Castle and the Bombay Sapphire distillery, and it was well-located for both. There is good, free parking and a nice breakfast.

Highclere Castle’s best neighborhood Inn
Despite the noise from the road the room was comfortable and clean. I liked the large TV and the breakfast was delicious.

Ok but just ok
Overall stay was ok but slow service in restaurant asked for a dessert menu and waited over 30min with no menu so paid the bill and left so lost sales there.
Then went to my room and issues with internet

Pleasant little place
It's a very pleasant pub/hotel. Friendly staff. Extremely close to Highclere Castle. The food was excellent. The only negative aspect was the bathroom. The shower cabinet is very small and vert high up, making it very hard in and out safely. Also there are not enough power points in the room. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay here. The inn is lovely and the staff even more so. If In town to see the castle or just to visit you couldn’t go to a better place.
