Adequate
Adequate stay. Not necessarily good or bad. Bed was uncomfortable. After over a week stay, we were required to pay for an extra night to get a late check out after our flights got delayed. I understand it was not the Inn’s concern, but little compassion was offered.

The wifi was terrible. nonexistant really. i had to use my phone hot spot.
2-night trip

2/10 Poor

I was miserable the whole time.
This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. Hot water went out on day two. The room was messy, crumbs in the seat. Damaged furniture and counters. The heater worked. Sorta. I was miserable the whole time. I thought it would be worth it to save a few bucks, I’d gladly paid the price of a better motel.

Thank you

Vintage Rustic and Cozy
This was such a cute older little hotel with plenty of nature walk opportunities with a pretty creek running through the property. For the price it's good and I would visit again, my only complaint was the restaurant wasn't open at all and that was something we were looking forward to. I understand they are under some renovations and construction so I have high hopes for future visits. It's not a brand new hotel but it's definitely cute if you're into a more rustic vintage vibe which we loved.

Tucked amongst the trees
We loved this place tucked in among the trees. There is a nice creek running on the property. They are dog friendly which was a plus for us. Our room was roomy too.

This is a well maintained Inn in a beautiful location.

Cheap place to stay while you're visiting Nevada city. The city of Nevada City is absolutely wonderful. And this place allows you to visit the town and stay affordably.
Grady, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

sad run down budget
rather run down facility, room was dated, not clean, worn-out everything. They tried to lodge me in a room at the back under the freeway next to a flooded parking lot and a construction zone.

Would stay again

Very nice place very clean. The Internet was terrible. And the restaurant that was advertised as being open was not open, they plan on opening it next year. overall, very nice place to stay.

Great place to stay
The room was great and the front desk lady was awesome, the only complaint is that the ice machine was out of order.
Scott, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beutiful spot with easy access to Hwy 20. Some terrible reviews from 3 years ago, but apparently much improved. Unfortunately, the very nice restaurant on site has just closed down
john, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very basic room with a comfortable bed. The property is nicely landscaped with pleasant hiking trails. The train ride to the train museum is an enjoyable experience for all ages.
Evan, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A large older property with some signs of deferred maintenance. It appears that some rooms may be in the process of updating. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Very convenient to downtown Nevada City; walking distance in good weather. A good value for the cost.
Jose, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

First cabin had a moldy smell, the electric heater barely worked, the “fireplace” had been taken apart for repairs maybe but not reassembled, but we didn’t stay long because the power went out in that cabin only and we had to move at 130 am since there was no heat. The second cabin was a tiny bit better but we both developed headaches and I had stomach issues from the moldy smell. Cabins are not maintained well & only heated if occupied but not even heated prior to your arrival. No one at the counter even asked how our stay was, guess they knew better. I would not stay again that’s for sure.
