It was a great location right on the water. The room was clean and the jetted tub was amazing after a long day of fishing and driving in the U,P. Has a microwave and small refrigerator. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice place right on the water

We had a good time there. The staff (and possibly owner) were all awesome. The view out of the balcony window was awesome. It is right on the water so you definitely have to deal with the fish flies! The staff do their best to clean it up every morning. The rooms themselves are pretty typical, but roomy given how little you are paying for it.

Vacation

Comfortable bed, clean room, very outdated carpet, drapes, and exterior. Nice to have a screen door out to the veranda as there were lots of large bugs flying around everywhere. Also, glad the weather was nice as you have to walk across the parking lot to get to the pool, main lobby, and breakfast. Great that the ferry company shuttles you back and forth from the main lobby, free of charge.

Wonderful Stay

This is a quaint little Inn on the lakefront. Amenities were good, staff was awesome, breakfast good and convenient. We usually stay in hotels which are more updated with larger rooms. The pictures make the rooms seem bigger and especially the bathroom. It was really tiny. Overall, the room was clean, and sufficient for our stay. We really loved the balcony just sitting, listening to the waves, seeing the fireworks from the island and especially sunrises. The desk clerk came to straighten out our confusion with the tv remote! Ferry shuttle pickup and drop-off was convenient.

Very awesome stay. Peaceful and Beautiful view from the patio. Clean room. Only very minor complaint was the sliding door to patio was super heavy and the handle broke. Also one person on 3rd flr got stuck outside because door was too heavy to open from outside. This is not enough to keep me from coming back tho. Super friendly staff!! A+++

One night stay for family of 5

Great place to lay our heads for a night. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a twin. The twin had its own little alcove. Very spacious balcony overlooking the water. Definitely paying for the proximity to Mackinac Island. Bathroom could use some updates but was fine for our quick stay. There is very little soundproofing, if you are a light sleeper I would bring a noise machine. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast fare.

Good

Stayed two nights family of 5 (3 kids). Our room had two double beds and a twin which is much nicer than hotels that only have a pull-out sofa as the third bed. We did ask for new sheets for the twin though because there was a fair amount of long hair in them. Otherwise, the room was clean. The size of the room was cramped for 5. We enjoyed the balcony and watching the seagulls and geese. The pool was clean. Breakfast was decent (what we expected). Pleased to see a woman cleaning tables and regilling food. Free parking and within walking distance to the ferry for mackinac island. There's also a free shuttle to the ferry. Overall, good. Not fancy, but met our needs well and the staff were nice.
