I would say this hotel is great if you’re a student on a budget, great location, and has a wonderful garden.

You get what you pay for
The hotel is a bit hard to find but the shocking thing is the fact that there is a shared shower on the 1st floor even f you live on the 3rd floor. And also the toilet was in the corridor. Not the best place to stay but then considering the price maybe that is what you get.

Advent in Vienna
in all, very good. Nice comfortable bed, silence, pleasant room, staff.
The only problem I noticed was that there is just one bathroom and it was two floors below, one night it didnt work. Toilets are more convenient.
Besides that, its a fine little hotel, very cosy and intimate. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, very clean rooms. Excellent location just meter away from the Prater.
One the down side, the hot water pipe in the shower in our room was making very weird vibrating sound.
Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

No Air conditioning-NONE but a room fan the housekeeper unplugged. Super hot in the summer. There is a brothel across the street but other than the sign you can't tell. It is great for a budget place and the staff was friendly. Parking is very hard to get to and get back from. They have a really cool outdoor courtyard but all the beds are singles. The shower was so small if you turned you hit the water off.

I know I booked a shared bathroom/toilet accommodation but I didn't know I had to go down few floors just to take a bath! The wi-fi is also not free, you have to pay for it. Maybe I overlooked it at the hotel description.

Good comfortable clean hotel in a good central location at a very good price (the room had shower, but the toilet was shared, which I was clearly made aware of in advance of the booking).

The staff was not very friendly. The air conditioning was incredibly loud in our room, and it was hard to sleep.

It worked for us
We needed a hotel close to the airport and this one, for the price, did the trick. There were 2 adults and 2 children in our party and the space and the beds were appropriate. The staff seemed to be helpful and attentive. The problem that we had was that the room was not air conditioned and it was very hot and uncomfortable. We opened the windows to try to cool off, but there was a lot of commotion on the street making too loud for them to be open. Did not have a good night sleep.

Small clean and good location.
The hotel was great and easy to get to. The staff were nice and helpful and as long as you like walking or taking the train everything is easy to find. Unless you want to be with all the other tourists this is a good option. There are also lots of food options in the area Asian, local and healthy cafes.
The room was small and no AC but there was a fan which helped as it was a very hot week when I was there.
It was clean and convenient.

There was nothing unique at all. I actually thought it was a hostel. We had to pay extra for air conditioning and WiFi. It was ridiculous. I felt I had to spray bug spray

Friendly staff and clean but dated decor and my room was just metres from the front reception desk so there was a LOT of noise disturbance - I think there's a good reason why most hotels don't have rooms right next to reception desks!!

Old fashioned, friendly, excellent value for money
The hotel's location is perfect. Close to the station, Prater park and walking distance from the city centre. It's quite old fashioned and the room was very small, but it is in a quiet side road and the room had everything you need. There was no extractor fan in the room so it got a bit steamy after a shower and I suspect that was why the room had a very slight damp smell to it, but I didn't spend too long there so it didn't bother me. Breakfast was a little expensive at 12 euros for continental, but it was very pleasant eating in the courtyard. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Considering the price I think it was excellent value for money.

Convenient for U Bahn and S Bahn. Decent place, and clean with good service. But rooms a little on the cosy side! I found it difficult to have a shower as the cubilcle was so small and I had to move into the room to get dry as the bathroom was not much larger. OK if you're small but for a 185m, 100kg man not so good.

the worst hotel in all of Austria. $5 extra for WiFi per day. Rude hotel staff. I walked in on them arguing, yelling, and disrespecting another older tourist from Britain. Do yourself a favor... DONT!

Booked this hotel due to high guest ratings as well as location. Pictures are not even close to the room I got or the hotel. For 130$ a night I could of stayed in an actual hotel not a outdated hostel from the early 60s that decided to make some rooms have bathrooms so they could pretend it’s an upscale hotel. Wifi is paid which I found out after checking in, which is ridiculous. they should just add 3$ to a room cost and have it free. Worst part was wifi was slow and I didn’t have connection half the time. Water only was hot once, and shower leaked onto the floor. King bed was two singles pushed together which would usually be ok but one was on wheels so it would push apart and if you got close to the middle you’d fall in between the beds as they pushed away. Only good things about hotel was restaurant with amazing food around the corner (koko) and market to buy food and drinks.
