The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Our room was very clean, however, there was an issue with the rubber seal to the fridge door. It kept coming off of the door, so the alarm kept going off because the fridge would not close properly unless I aligned the seal to the door perfectly. The WiFi was pretty bad…actually non functional and I had to rely on my phone data to get internet in and around the hotel. Even then, the signal was pretty horrible, so because of the WiFi/internet issue, I don’t believe I will be coming back to this hotel. I believe you can pay for better WiFi, but I’d rather not because I’m not sure how reliable that would be either.
The breakfast buffet had good food selection and there was one worker who always said good morning to me and greeted me with a smile. The pool was nice and peaceful because my kids and I were pretty much the only ones there on a Saturday afternoon. The gym had adequate equipment and there were plenty of cardio machines to choose from: a few treadmills, a recumbent bike, a Peloton bike, and an Eliptical (the one I chose for my cardio workout). I also used their free weights and bench. The gym had a functional trainer machine that I didn’t use, so I can’t comment on it too much. Plenty of towels there to wipe the sweat off your face.
Overall a good experience with a few hiccups. This is the second time my family stayed here since my husband has an annual event at the Convention Center.
