This was a beautiful rural setting for a great weekend family vacation. We enjoyed having so many resort activities to choose from. The water park was awesome. And the staff were friendly- knowledgeable- and very accommodating. This was definitely a 5 star vacation for us.

The Lodge units are a great value with good amenities including full kitchen and living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus a private balcony. Such a great option to get away and close to amenities like canoeing on Fox River. Staff provided excellent service too.

Clean room, comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom was larger than most and the full kitchen was a plus! I liked having central air conditioning instead of the loud units that are normally in hotel rooms. The place was very quiet but it also wasn’t super crowded when we were there. A 5 minute drive to the racetrack which was convenient for our stay. We didn’t use the pool or any amenities so I can’t speak about those but the room was nice!

We absolutely love coming to stay at this property! The indoor and outdoor pools are so refreshing! The rooms are spacious and we always utilize the kitchen and balcony. While on our last visit we were so saddened to hear that this resort is closing! I believe October 2 is their last checkout date😭 I hope someone is willing to buy it soon and carryon so families can continue to make memories at such an awesome place! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We had fun here, the resort offered lots of activities for kids and the water park was a fun thing to add on. The room was much bigger and had a living room area that was a pleasant surprise of additional space. Cute woodsy/cabin decor, its kind of like a little great wolf lodge without the cost. There isnt much to eat in the area, plan to stock your kitchen from the norway store and drive 20 minutes for fast food. The norway breakfast buffet was great. The water park food option on site has pizza, chips, and buffalo wings.

Nice Facility. Great, helpful staff. Surprised by the Villa Lodge rooms. Very spacious for 5 adults and a toddler. Enjoyed the rural setting. Wildlife in the area. Disappointed by the 'green' lake so no peddle boats or fishing. But that's Mother Nature! :( Many activities to take part in throughout the day and evenings.

So nice. The presidential villas were amazing. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens!! The balcony was great, just a lot of bugs! Pirate Cay is a drive away and costs to get in. Checks hours before booking. We enjoyed our stay! Very cool and not far from Chicago. Surrounding areas did have Trump signs in yard.

It was very nice and clean. The only real issue we had was the shower curtain was too short at one end. It was made up of two shower curtains. One short and one long. Part of it wouldn’t cover the edge of the tube. It didn’t work well.
