Clean, climate controlled rooms. There is a gas station and convenience store in the same parking lot, which is nice because there is nothing else around. Paul was very friendly. My one complaint was that the beds needed an extra pillow and blanket, but other than that it was very nice for a motel.

I just needed a place to stay overnight. For the price it was fine. It was clean and not too far from my destination. The mattresses were a little soft for my liking, but the cleanliness is great and there was always someone there when you needed them. I would stay there again.

Went to Cooperstown for Baseball Hall of Fame. Apple Inn was a wonderful stay, rooms were immaculate, wood floors , not carpet. Outside area near the pool was a great spot to unwind, lovely view. Stayed here for a Cooperstown tournament. It is the perfect location to get to the park. The accommodations fit our needs and were much nicer than many of the vacation rentals and near by hotels that our friends stayed in. Paul is so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Don’t judge your book by its cover.
Upon turning into the parking lot, the sense that it was an old, rundown motel came at first. But when you enter the room, the original feeling quickly goes away. The rooms were incredibly clean, and updated. Check-in was incredibly easy as it was all done through text message, and the lockbox keys. The owner came out and greeted us and thank us for coming to his motel. Each room back door entry with the patio table that you could sit in and enjoy the views of the interest, farmland, and mountains in the background. 10 out of 10.

Quaint motel highly recommend
We were in the area with a thousand or so families for the Cooperstown baseball tournament. We weren’t excited about staying in a big hotel for 9 days. Based on reviews we chose this small (15 unit) motel with a kitchenette just 5 miles south of the tournament. There is a convenience store in front of the motel. It was very peaceful and quiet. I sat on the patio outside my room and enjoyed the view of the fields and mountains while reading a book. Paul and his dad own the motel and are a picture of hard working people investing in their dream and working hard to insure their guests have a good experience. I would describe the rooms as quaint and would highly recommend booking here. You can make your own breakfast in the room or go to Jackie’s less than a mile north as you head to the baseball park. Paul was an excellent host.

Hidden Gem
If you are not looking for this place you will miss it. If you miss it you would be missing out. The place wasn't bad, but the staff was awesome. Paul makes sure you have everything you need, I feel like I made a new friend. The room was redone & had a lot of character with everything you need to enjoy your week at Cooperstown. The bathroom was much bigger than a normal hotel bathroon which was nice. The location was great too. The short drive to CDP is easy, plus you enter from the best direction. It was easy to run back to room in between games to get out of the weather as needed.

Wonderful. Believe all the positive reviews. This updated motel is cozy, quaint and oh so very clean. The bathroom is large and bright. The beds are comfortable and larger than i thought by "double" bed. Rooms have a front door (where you park) and also a back door overlooking the countyside with a table and chairs and sidewalk to the pool. Speaking of, Paul is so nice- he got the pool going Memorial Day weekend so we could hop in it! He also runs the gas station/convenience store which has just about anything you could need or want, including beer or ice cream by the scoop. The motel isnt very walkable anywhere else and is about a 12/15min drive to downtown Cooperstown but there are many stores and restaurants between on a pretty country road. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Stay Here! You wont be disappointed
Paul was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. I locked myself out at 11pm and a neighbor helped me contact him and he was there in 2 seconds. I left my coffee pot on and asked him to pop in to turn it off and he restocked everything for me while in there without me asking. Beds were super comfy. I loved the peaceful serenity of this little charming motel. Highly recommend!
