A lovely break in the Peak District. The hotel is warm and comfortable with a great restaurant and fantastic food. The service was exceptional. The only downside was the tired room and especially the bathroom that we stayed in. But I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.

Superb hotel with all the beauty of an old fashioned hotel but with all the modern amenities. Immaculately kept buildings and grounds. Extremely friendly, welcoming and efficient staff in all areas of hotel. Breakfast was 10/10. Great selection and hot food perfectly cooked to order. Lots of extras including a lovely touch of a preordered pack lunch to take on hikes. Everything was top class inc products in room. Can’t fault it at all. A fabulous find and I’ll be back.
